Jan Stuart Will Join Cornerstone Macro As Chief Energy Strategist

NEW YORK, July 11, 2017 – Cornerstone Macro, an investment research broker-dealer, announced today that Jan Stuart will join the firm as Chief Energy Strategist.

Mr. Stuart was most recently at Credit Suisse as an energy economist, where he worked in both the equity and fixed income departments. In his new role at Cornerstone Macro, Jan will become a key member of the firm’s highly regarded research group, which includes Nancy Lazar, II’s #2 Wall Street economist; Andy Laperriere and Roberto Perli, ranked #2 by II for Washington research; François Trahan, ranked #1 by II for portfolio strategy and Carter Worth, ranked #1 by II for technical analysis.

Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Jan Stuart worked at Macquarie, UBS, the International Energy Agency in Paris, the Petroleum Intelligence Group, and in energy futures at ABN Amro.  He holds a bachelor’s degree from the American University in Paris, a masters in International Relations from Boston University and a masters in Journalism from Columbia University.
